Life is full of Amazing Grace...
I did make it to Finisterre after all... With a little help from my friends... The Camino de Santiago is many paths with different names, marked with arrows and shells and these days followed by people with gps maps on our phones. The Way... Is a personal Journey within... For me, a profound Journey of Heart & Spirit that continues… It ultimately has nothing to do with walking in Spain. And ‘The Way of The Camino’ is not a path or a walk or even a solitary personal Journey. The Way of The Camino is the people. The Camino is a trail, The Way is within. The Way of The Camino only exists because of our relationships, the people we share the Journey with, however profound or fleeting. We are all in this together. My day ‘walking in the mud’… The day I tore my meniscus, was on the full moon in April. It was the next day, even though I tried to rest my knee for three days, that I knew that walking The Camino was over for me. Yet… Look at this video I received this morning. Here ‘I’ was… With a Heart. At Finisterre. Diving into the Sea. I did ‘walk’ The Way of The Camino… With a little help from my friends. What a beautiful and profoundly touching gift to receive… Flowing so very much Love and Gratitude to my mates Deb and Jeff!!! Someday… Somewhere, I hope to share a path and a pint with you again.
